the ICFs legacy is taking a battering because of this.

hope one iron gets well soon so we can see the virtue in it.

Re: This is all Andy Swallow's fault.
Respect for the ICF? Why?

I'm ambivalent towards them and all groups of that nature.

I do however have total disrespect for groups of said nature threatening fellow fans with no violent intentions.

Oh, and just being part of a 'firm' doesn't make you a good fighter by default.

Re: This is all Andy Swallow's fault.
If the organisers wanted to take a step back that is one thing. To make threats of violence towards another West Ham fan and chairman of an elected and recognised fan group is not. There is no excusing that.

Re: This is all Andy Swallow's fault.
IHe pitched up at The Last Drop around 2 o' clock. Seemed happy enough and relaxed. Very hard to know what's gone on , but the whole thing stinks.

I think things have got their own momentum now. As for people being worried about the ICF, I have every respect for them, and in the past I've actually been proud of them, but they're blokes in their 50's or more. Looking at AS I'd give it maybe another year before my 15 yr old son, who's a half decent boxer, would go through him. I understand they've got younger blokes hanging round them, but there's just too much anger around for it to be put off by them opposing it.

Looking at the other thread I'd love it if something by way of opposition and marches could be organised around BG, even as a figurehead. I'm sure that would work.

Re: This is all Andy Swallow's fault.
I'm no great fan of AS or MM, but tbf to them, I'd guess (from my own involvement in similar 'ventures') that the biggest problem would be the MASSIVE takeover of your life that occurs when you take a pole position in these situations.

They are both ordinary blokes with a living to make and all the normal stuff going on that fills a day anyway. MM apparently has a faceful before you add rwhfag into the mix, and my bet is it just exhausted them very quickly, and the chance to sail into calmer waters and 'get a life back' became very appealing. Sullivan and KB have a lifetime's practise of identifying those weak spots and exploiting them: "Nah, you don't want all this agro in your lives, boys, let's just do this / that, eh?"

Did they take a bung? Well, moneyed people like Sully have a hundred subtle ways of 'rewarding' compliance and 'punishing' non compliance. The idea of a fat brown envelope or a gangster strangling your pet lab is a bit literal in my view, and far too easily highlighted at a later date when loyalties change. 'Concessions' is a more likely scenario... maybe...

The elephant in the room for me is the 'membership' money. After a couple of quid out per head for a pin badge and postage, you could be looking at anything between 70k -> 100k there, still. It can't just be 'pocketed' - there are strict rules about these type of groups and their finances for that very reason. And of course, the articles by the Indie / Guardian will have flagged this to the authorities now...

Funny that Lily as I asked both people who text us where they got the info from and whether I knew them...

"can't say mate" was his reply... other one didn't want to give us a name either.... probably because they know I got a big mouth...!! Sent us some other stuff I'm trying to digest... and to be honest I'm not sure I can...

If you get hounded on this site for sources of transfer rumours, then you better be pretty confident of your sources on these kind of rumours. If you know they’re true, good on you for spreading the truth so bravely.
